about

Youtube Video:

Caspar Camomilla is a side project by singer and songwriter Adam Usi, who is best known as his work in the genres of new wave and synthpop.

"With this project I try to create something unique. I want to get to my borders regarding my voice, my feelings and my creativity. Therefore I try not to use synthetic instruments. The main focus for me is to find vocal harmonys during the process of improvisation. All this vocals stand for them selfes, only thing added are some fx and some orff instruments. For this track especially I also used a fipple flute, which doesnt do tonal, but only atmospheric sounds, and some pink/brown noise. My new EP "Amygdala" is going to be released this September. I consider this project as a art project and as something, that should not be related to my work as Adam Usi. Thank you for your comprehension and, if you will, especially for listening.

about

Adam Usi Augsburg, Germany

»Would anyone manage to describe the sound of Adam Usi? The German is alone on stage with his keyboards. (...) Adam Usi impresses especially during the latter. A man who cries out his demons to the sound of minimal electro. Nice, not? It was so beautiful that we were dancing for an hour, far away from everyday problems.«
